General

The Roland DJ-505 is a comprehensive Serato DJ controller that includes samples from Roland's legendary TR-808, TR-909, TR-606 and TR-707 drum machines. This DJ controller comes complete with Serato DJ software including the Serato Tool Kit Licence and extra effects. The DJ-505 has two physical channels but is capable of controlling up to four decks at the same time. Its built-in mixer can be used with external equipment and there are line and phono inputs to connect devices like turntables or tabletop players.

Built-In Sequencer

The DJ-505 features a built-in 16-step sequencer to open up another dimension of your sets by triggering now-vintage Roland drum sounds or Serato samples, giving you endless options for live remixing. The drums are reproduced via Roland’s patented ACB (Analogue Circuit Behavior) technology to faithfully recreate that authentic sound and character. You even get the possibility to adjust the volume, attack, decay and tone of the drums to create dynamics and match your tracks.

Optimised for Scratching

When it comes to scratching, many DJ controllers don't do a great job. The DJ-505, however, is fitted with two low-latency platters, specially optimised for this purpose. The platters are topped with brushed aluminium plates that are not only durable, but highly responsive and with a great feel.
