What is a B-stock product?
A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.
B-stock information
The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. Product information
General
Part of the SUB 700 Series, the RCF SUB 705-AS MK3 active subwoofer packs 700 Watts of power and comes housed in a relatively compact unit. This bold bass bin peaks at 1,400W and is cut out for live sound, especially when plenty of headroom is more than welcome. The SUB 705-AS is driven by a class-D amplifier and is capable of reaching 131dB sound pressure levels - the kind you'll not only hear, but feel.
Selectable Stereo Crossover Frequency
This 15-inch active sub can be teamed up with 8 or 10-inch speakers and features a rear control panel fitted with volume, EQ, polarity and delay controls. In addition, you're set up with a stereo crossover for optimum frequency range separation and properly balanced, fully dynamic sound.
Electronic Equalising and Soft-Limiting
The built-in electronic equalizer comes with two selectable presets in the form of a low-pass filter (from 80Hz) and a high-pass filter (from 110Hz), while the integrated soft limiter ensures a smooth transition when going from an unlimited to a limited signal. Last but not least, RCF have built in protection circuits to counter overheating and clipping.
