I've borrowed a Zoom F6 from a mate for an upcoming location recording job where space is at a premium, and this tiny device is terrific - when teamed with the phone app, it turns the slightly fiddly, awkward-to-use F6 into a really good little recorder.
Really strongly recommended if you're taking an F6 on the road and are planning to do anything trickier than average with it.

Ravi de ce petit objet. Utilisé avec un Zoom B6. C’est un bonheur de ne pas passer sa repet le dos cassé, à quatre pattes sur son pédalier. Pas essayé en live (mais une fois que ses presets sont faits ….).
Et un gros plus en studio, pédalier sous le bureau et tout se passe en haut, coté ordinateur. Juste la basse sur la cuisse.

Had liever 35 euro meer betaalt ingebouwd in de recorder, want de opening om 'm in te pluggen kost meer ruimte dan het chipje zelf. Onbegrijpelijke beslissing, qua design en marketing. Maar toch blij dat ik 'm heb qua remote. Enige nadeel: afluisteren/monitoren kan NIET via je telefoon, daar heb je nog steeds headphone out op de Zoom F6 voor nodig, heb nog geen setting kunnen vinden om dat te veranderen. Waarschijnlijk kan Bluetooth of alleen data of alleen audio aan en niet beiden tegelijk, maar ik ben geen nerd dus dit is een gokje. Tweede puntje dat verbetering behoeft: tracks renamen gaat snel met het toetsenbord op je telefoon, maar een volgende track renamen duurt lang want je moet naar je tracklijst terug (in mijn geval maar 30 tracks) en dat duurt telkens een paar seconden, daar zouden ze in een volgende app-versie een soort cache voor moeten maken. De app is verder intuitief en prettig om mee te werken: qua precisie met faders is een iPad wel handiger dan een iPhone maar die heb ik niet. Ook een knopje om tracks die niet okay zijn snel te deleten (of in ieder geval in de prullenbak te zetten) mis ik.
