This Valeton Surge Series offering is a passive two-in-one volume and expression pedal. The EP-2 isn't just multifunctional, but takes up minimal pedalboard space and eats up minimal budget. Because of the passive design, there's no need to hook up an extra power supply or find some extra space on your multi-power block and, to make things really easy, the output even automatically recognises the kind of source that's hooked up. Simply place the Valeton Surge Series EP-2 anywhere it's needed in the effects chain to serve as a volume pedal, or hook it up to the expression pedal port of one your stomboxes to gain hands-free control over one of the parameters.
