What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

B-stock photos

The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::

  • Photo of the brand new product
  • Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
  • Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

Original packaging

Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box

State of product:

New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

Can I return a B-stock product?

Yes! Our 30-Day Trial Period also applies to B-stock products.

Do B-stock products come with a warranty?

Yes! Our usual Bax Music warranty also applies to most B-stock products.

General

With the Mix12FX, Mackie proves that mixers don't have to be large and complex. Not only does this well-organised mixer have 4 microphone inputs and 4 stereo inputs, it also features 12 built-in effects that allow you to add some reverb to your vocals, for instance. The Mix12FX is suitable for a variety of applications: use it in your rehearsal space, to mix a small ensemble, or as as a keyboard mixer. Thanks to the familiar Mackie quality, you'll enjoy this mixer for years to come.

Mackie Mix12FX: The Design

If you have experience with mixers, you'll know how important an equalizer can be. The Mix12FX's first four channels have a 3-band EQ with a 75Hz high-pass filter, which makes the mixer ideal for mixing vocals. An FX knob allows you to adjust the effect level for each channel individually. Additionally, the mixer's control room/headphone volume can be controlled independently from the main volume, and its stereo inputs can be used in mono mode as well.

Technology

If you purchase a Mackie product, high quality is guaranteed, as the manufacturer uses only the best electronic and mechanical components. The Mix12FX's housing is made of rugged metal so it can take a hit and its internal circuitry has been developed with efficiency in mind. Its microphone preamplifier offers high headroom and features a special low-noise design. In short, with this Mackie mixer, you treat yourself to a high-grade piece of technology that'll keep you in business for years.

Mackie Mix12FX Mixer with Effects

Mackie Mix12FX Mixer with Effects

Mackie Mix12FX Mixer with Effects
