Evans' EQ3 Coated is perfect for drummers looking for a bass drumhead that produces a fat yet warm sound. This 6.5 mil coated double-layer head has a distinct attack, with the low tones in particular coming into their own. Thanks to the double layers, this bass drumhead is durable. In addition, even drummers with the firmest hits will not be able to distort the sound of this skin. Very suitable for live performances.

In mid-2019, Evans changed the logo on the sheets. It used to have 'Level 360' on it, which is no longer the case with the new sheets. The sheets with 'Level 360' on them are still in circulation, so you might receive one with or without that text. Otherwise, the sheet is completely the same. All sheets are still delivered in the old box, which will also be replaced at the end of 2019.
