A reworked version of the OG Death By Audio Fuzz War, this stompbox has been specially tuned for electric basses, offering up a tasty buffet of rich and deep, hairy fuzz. The circuit has been adjusted to essentially create an octave fuzz so you can get heavy and harmonic without losing any of your low-end. The output of the Death By Audio Bass War is also a touch louder, wider and gives the fuzz effect the necessary ground-shaking depth and impact that you're after. All of this depth doesn't just set up the pedal for basses, but low-tuned guitars and baritone models.

The bare metal housing and stencilled graphics of this pedal gives it the look of a modded military-issue mess tin. But this mess tin supplies a set of four crucial controls. With the Fuzz pot, you can determine just how dirty you want your fuzz to get. With the Tone pot, you're essentially dialling in a notch-filter that transforms the entire frequency range, making it feel like you've got a whole battalion of fuzz boxes under your command. With the Mix pot, you can find the sweet spot that gives you the perfect mix of fuzz and distortion without sacrificing any of the deep and resonating subs. And, with the Volume pot, you can balance and blend the fuzz effect and your bypassed sound to taste.
