Proudly put together in Finland, the Darkglass Microtubes 500 V2 bass guitar amp head comes loaded with one of Darkglass' own, newly-developed class-D power amps, which makes it possible hook up any 2-Ohm+ speaker cabinet. Fortunately, the instantly recognisable styling and compact design have been carried over from the first generation Microtubes, meaning this 2.4 kg unit and its numerous input and output can be seamlessly integrated into your live rig or studio set-up.

The Microtubes V2: Improved Cab Sim

By popular demand, Darkglass have blessed the V2 version of the Microtubes 500 with an improved Cab Sim module for speaker simulation. Here, you're getting three slots to store high-resolution impulse responses, which can be used in combination with the headphone output and the balanced XLR DI output. To colour in the sound of your bass, there's also a new 1-knob compressor and ultra-silent graphic EQ, and of course you can still choose between two overdrive voicings: B3K for full-on aggression or VMT for enveloping warmth.
