With a power capacity touching on 150 Watts, the Peavey MAX 150 is maybe not the most powerful combo out there, but what it lacks in over-oiled brawn, it definitely makes up for in fully-educated brains. The smart design of this little amp manages to make the very best of its modest form. Ground lift removes any unwanted noise while a fully tuned bass-reflex port construction aids incredible definition and presence across the entire frequency range, especially in the high-end. All of this is shaped by a premium 12" speaker with DDT speaker protection and a full set of extensive controls and switches, making this combo amp the perfect rehearsal and show buddy.

De verkoper gaf goede informatie over het product en ik kon de Peavey Max 150 basversterker lekker uit testen in de winkel. De versterker geeft een lekkere diepe basklank zonder irritante ruis. Tijdens een optreden met een blazersorkest had ik voldoende vermogen. Het stem apparaatje met mute knop is handig maar ik denk toch aan een footswitch.
Ik ben ook blij dat BAX weer een doorstart heeft gemaakt en de winkels weer open zijn.
