General
With the DiMarzio DP122 Model P-Bass bass guitar elements, you get a split-single-coil pickup suitable for Precision-style bass guitars. In this set and configuration, these two parts work together as 1 P-style bass element. The Model P-Bass elements have a quite heavy and ferocious sound, with a great emphasis on the midrange in particular. They are specifically designed to 'cut through' the music, so to speak, and therefore definitely claim their place within a band sound. The pickups enhance the natural sound of your bass guitar, but give it some extra bite and gain, without losing low-end in the process. This bass guitar pickup is also excellent to combine with a Model J or Ultra Jazz pickup in bridge position.
