General
Not one, not two, but even three cardioid elements has this microphone! This sets the MX396 apart from the rest, and the recording pattern is adjustable for each element. You can thus set the coverage per situation. For example, you can put the microphone at the end of the table with 300-degree coverage, in the middle of the table with 360-degree coverage, or in the middle with three people, each with 60-degree space, for example. The possibilities are almost endless, to achieve the perfect sound you need.
The recording options may be incredibly extensive, but what about everything else? That's also very well thought out, as the MX396 tri is equipped with an all kinds of features, including a mute function and individual outputs per element. The mute function is also indicated by a two-colour LED indicator, while CommShield technology protects against annoying noise from electronic devices and mobile phones. So you can continue to make calls with the MX396 next to you!
