General
The Sela SE 044 Casela Brown Dragon cajon is made of birch wood no less than 11 layers thick and offers sturdiness and playability to say the least. When you remove the snare mat, you can play in the traditional Peruvian style. Due to its good value for money, Sela has become a very popular brand of percussion instruments since 1999. Their cajons in particular are well-known to many musicians. Eye-catching on this SE 044 is Sela's Thin Splash pickguard in a nice dark brown finish. You can replace this pickguard so if you like to try something new regularly, that's no problem.
