General

Besides coming finished with a stage-worthy print, the Sela SE 173 Art Series Sketch cajon is every bit a professional percussion instrument. The body has been built from 15mm thick walls made from 11-ply birch laminate before being fitted with Sela's own Snare System, which can be removed with ease and replaced with a second Sela snare crossbar to give you the enhanced body demanded by more traditional Latin and Flamenco percussion. Even before you make any modifications, the Art Series Sketch cajon has a full and solid bass sound, and a balanced, tight and prominent snare sound. And since this model comes with pre-installed clap corners, you're assured of plenty of variation. Add up the sound as well as the look of this cajon, and you're essentially getting a bargain.
