General

For a high-quality Moving Magnet cartridge, the Audio Technica VM-540ML/H is the place to be. It is equipped with a microline stylus, which results in perfect reproduction when it comes to treble and clarity. This is because the shape of the stylus ensures better contact within the grooves of your vinyl record and, in addition, there is less wear and tear for your record and the stylus itself. To make the right match in terms of left and right channel position, two magnets placed in a V-shape have been used. This improves not only the channel separation but also the frequency range. A separator plate placed in the centre of the cartridge prevents crosstalk to below 40 dB and to properly deal with vibrations, cast aluminium has been chosen for the housing.
