General

The Audio Technica VM-750SH is a Moving Magnet cartridge where the mid and high frequency ranges are very well represented. An important factor here is the Shibata needle. In fact, this needle was specially developed for use with 4-channel vinyl records where the needle carrier is made of aluminium. To master vibrations and take the quality of sound to an even higher level, a similar alloy has been used for the housing To make the right match in terms of left and right channel position, two magnets placed in a V-shape have been used. This improves not only the channel separation but also the frequency range. A separator plate placed in the centre of the cartridge prevents crosstalk to below 40 dB.
