General
Built using high-quality materials and finished entirely by hand by experienced craftspeople, the Yamaha VC5S cello is an excellent instrument for the more serious beginner. The body shape and design comes directly from the work of Stradivarius, so the spruce belly has been combined with maple sides and a maple back to shape a warm and pure foundation, and the whole body has been sealed with a specially formulated oil varnish to result in a high-gloss look. This 3/4-sized edition is the perfect entry-level instrument for students aged 11 to 15.
The Yamaha VC5S Cello: A Wittner Tailpiece
As you would only expect of a Yamaha instrument of this class, it's been finished with high-quality parts, starting with the smooth playability of the ebony fretboard and extending to the hard-ebony tuning pegs. One of the more stand-out features is the Wittner 'Ultra' tailpiece complete with four fine-tuners, which supports highly accurate tuning. The Yamaha VC5S comes as part of a complete cello pack, including a practical soft case, a Brazilian wood bow and Pirastro Piranito rosin.

Cello werd verstuurd met kam en snaren opgespannen in een te krappe doos. Heel het bovenblad was op 3 plaatsen gebarsten en de toets was losgekomen. Bravo Baxke.
