The Paiste Formula 602 Modern Essentials 18-inch China is a wonderful cymbal to have in your drum kit. Completely handmade in Switzerland, this model combines the classic Formula 602 sound with the rich, warm qualities of the Signature Traditionals. The lively sound with a long extinction time and somewhat complex sound character makes this 18-inch model a perfect fit for your drum kit.

Modern Essentials

Paiste's Formula 602 Modern Essentials were developed in consultation with renowned drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. His discography reads like a 'who's who', with household names like Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell, Sting, Billy Joel, Tori Amos and many others. The collaboration proved fruitful; the Formula 602 series contains gems of cymbals. The qualities of this series are mainly its wide applicability and its full, lively and accurate sound. These are qualities that make these cymbals feel perfectly at home in studio and live situations, and with pop, rock, folk and many other genres.
