Boss has blessed its Katana Series flagship with several excellent tweaks. The result is this 100-Watt Katana-Artist MKII combo amp with more possibilities and sounds than ever before. Now, each of the 5 amplifier voicings offer sound variation to give you double the amount of possible guitar sounds to discover. Anything's possible, from acoustic and clean to full-on overdrive while, using the 3-band EQ and 3-way contour switch, each sound can be sculpted and shaped to taste. Meanwhile, a Class-AB power amp makes sure everything gets properly sent over to the British-sounding, 12-inch Custom Waza speaker.

The Katana-Artist MKII: Colour Up Your Guitar Sound With More Effects

Besides all of the above, you can colour in your favourite guitar sounds with a big handful of effects. The amp itself features booster, reverb, delay, mod and FX controls and if that's not enough for you, you can install the Boss Tone Studio Editor software to gain access to another 60+ effects, including dedicated pedal FX and pre and post-equalizers. Once you've found what you're looking for, you can save your new favourite sound to one of the 8 preset slots in the Tone Settings. Any separate effect pedals can be optionally hooked up to the effects loop and the Katana Artist MKII takes extra footswitches and speaker cabs for stage use. For monitoring, quiet practice sessions or home recordings, you can use the line out, USB port or phones / rec out.
