A valve amp gives you that thick, warm overdrive every guitarist dreams of, but you do need to maintain it, replace the valves every now and then, and turn the volume up quite a bit to get the best tone. Not everyone is keen on that, especially if you’re playing at home or on smaller stages. The Laney Ironheart Foundry IRF60-110 is designed to capture that iconic Ironheart tube sound in a compact, maintenance-free combo. Two channels — a clean channel and a lead channel — have been built from the ground up to match both the tone and the playing feel of the original valve amps, without you ever having to replace the valves.
