The Peavey Solo is a tight and manageable little practice amp that sets you up with 15 Watts of transistor driven power backed up by the lush, valve-style sound of TransTube technology. The preamp section offers a range of different guitar sounds, so you can flip from bright and clean, to sustain-rich distortion by simply hitting the Lead switch and dialling in your tone, while the power amp section doesn't just manage the volume of the fitted 8 inch Blue Marvel speaker, but adds a nice dose of compression to shape authentic sound. Hook up an external audio player, like your phone, to play along with tracks, and plug in a set of headphones for more silent practice, all with the help of this feisty little amplifier.
