General

If you own an acoustic instrument you probably know that they can be hard to amplify properly. On the one hand, you want the best possible sound, but at the same time you need the freedom to jump around on stage. This is why it is vital that the microphone can be placed out of sight. This AKG microphone is very compact and as it is easy to mount (it is equipped with adhesive material on one side) you can experiment with the positioning of the microphone. The microphone has a regular XLR connector with a cable of three metres. This allows you to connect the microphone directly to a PA mixer with phantom power supply and let the music commence!

Gekocht om met een akoestische gitaar te gebruiken. Geeft een uitstekend, natuurlijk geluid, met weinig bijgeluiden.
Alleen de kit waarmee je hem op de gitaar plakt is wat knullig. De kit houdt niet echt goed, bovendien laat het na verwijdering kitresten achter op het oppervlak. Ga het proberen met dubbelzijdig plakband.

Gekocht voor gebruik met een draailier op grond van naspeuren van recensies op internet, waar de natuurlijke klank geprezen wordt. Mijn ervaring: veel pickups geven een onnatuurlijk geluid, een draailier lijkt daarmee vaak meer een synthesizer. Deze microfoon, achter de kam op de zangbodem geplakt, geeft een heel natuurlijk geluid, bijna zo natuurlijk als bij gebruik van een goed gekozen microfoon, maar met het grote voordeel dat feedback van luidsprekers en overspraak van andere instrumenten (doedelzak!) bij spelen op een podium vrijwel uitgesloten is. Gelukkig ook weinig last van mechaniekgeluiden, die een draailier nu eenmaal heeft, ze komen slechts zwak door. Prima ding, en dat voor voor een schappelijke prijs!
