The Avantone CK-1 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone out of the Cabernet series (C series). This series is well-known for its intuitive controls and attractive price. The Avantone CK-1 can be used in a variety of situations, and has a full, open and warm sound thanks to the built-in FET circuit. Its design and performances definitely rival those of more expensive microphones.

CK-1: FET circuit and replaceable capsules

The FET circuit of the Avantone CK-1 ensures that you can enjoy the warmth and openness of a tube microphone, but with the technical advantages and reliability of a solid state mic. It comes with three replaceable capsules. Every capsule has its own pickup pattern (cardioid, hyper-cardioid and omnidirectional), so that you can select the optimal manner of registration for each situation.

Besides three different capsules, the Avantone CK-1 comes with a stylish, lined wooden box, a manual and an SSM shock mount. The latter ensures that you won't be bothered by ambient noise from vibrations from the stand.
