General

The Ear Trumpet Labs microphones feature a striking vintage design, and are made completely by hand. This also goes for the Edna, an impressive industrial-looking side-address small-diaphragm condenser microphone. As only high-quality, hand-selected components are used when building the mic, it sounds great! The Ear Trumpet Labs Edna is well suited for instrumental and vocal recordings in live as well as studio environments.

Edna's sound

The Edna small-diaphragm condenser microphone ensures a full, accurate and detailed sound. It's fitted with a built-in pop filter, which reduces pop and wind noises, while retaining clarity. Its bright high frequency and quick response make it widely applicable - perfect for recording acoustic instruments, electric guitars and vocals. The cardioid pickup pattern allows you to accurately aim the microphone at the sound source, so that you won't be bothered by crosstalk. Edna is therefore also a great one for use on stage.

Special housing

Its housing makes this microphone look pretty tough! The lollipop-shaped microphone is made with sanitary flanges and stainless steel bolts, which also provide a neat bronze glow. Ear Trumpet's Edna comes in a neat metal case with foam lining, and it fits in nearly any standard microphone clip.
