Neumann KMS 104 bk Vocal Condenser Microphone
This mic is amazing. So much better than any standard dynamic with none of the issues associated with using condenser mics for vocals live.
The sound is crystal clear and you can hear every nuance of the source. There is a useful (non defeatable) bass roll of built in to prevent too much low end when using close up where the proximity effect comes in.
The sensitivity is nicely in a usable range and I can run gain around 4dB lower than a standard dynamic such as an SM58/E835.
A perfect mic for stage or studio and equally suited to male or female vocals. I've not tried it on any instruments yet but I can imagine it working well on acoustic guitar and woodwinds.
