The regular Sabian HHX Complex crashes are already fast, aggressive and dark-sounding cymbals, but for the Canadian brand's latest model, there's another adjective that deserves a definitive place in the list: trashy. Since the Complex O-Zone features six large holes, any sound waves it produces get broken up to shape that dirty edge that any standard cymbal simply can't. B20 bronze has been used to form the 11700XCN HHX Complex O-Zone and it's this material combined with an intense hammering pattern that lends the crash its high level of tonal complexity and dark sound. What's more, the bell has even been given an extra beating to reinforce the sound and ensure immediate attack.
