The Radial StageBug SB-4 has been specifically designed for acoustic instruments that are equipped with a passive piezo pickup, like violins, mandolins and cellos. This active DI box adds warmth to the sound, eliminates feedback and irons out any unpleasant peaks. Its high impedance also broadens the frequency range which helps shape more natural and satisfying sound, while enhancing signal transmission across large distances. And, so you can take care of unwanted feedback and phase issues Radial have outfitted the STAGEBUG SB-4 with a high-pass filter and a 180° reverse polarity switch.
