Allen & Heath's Qu-5 is an excellent digital mixer and recorder. The Qu-5D goes the extra mile. First of all, the basics: a nice robust mixer, with motorised faders, a large display and the necessary controls. Fine thing, then, for big bands and not too crazy big theatres. Not least because this device operates easily and quickly. Basically, there are several brands making similar products within this paradigm. In our shops, however, Allen & Heath wins out with customers, a favourite brand for PA purposes. In this 5D, you get a Dante interface included and built in; audio networking capabilities, in other words! More options come in the form of SLink: a connector that lets you interface with products in the Everything I/O range.

Te gekke en compacte mixer is de eerste indruk. Alleen onwijs jammer dat ik er vanaf de MacBook nog niet zoveel mee kan omdat de A&H software om de mixer te benaderen niet op de nieuwste Mac OS werkt... Kan niet updaten, kan vanaf PC niets instellen enz. Als audio interface werkt het wel maar kan niet de volledige functies gebruiken momenteel. Anders waren het 5 sterren.
