Allen & Heath Qu-6 digital mixer

Hallo allemaal,

De console werd na mijn betaling supersnel en zeer goed verpakt in Duitsland geleverd.

De console is gewoonweg fantastisch; hij is vele malen beter dan de oude QU-24. Ik heb meteen ook de QU-5 besteld.

Ik zou deze console zeker opnieuw kopen.

Allen & Heath Qu-6 digital mixer

Deze digitale mengtafel is de opvolger van de Qu Classic van Allen & Heath. Ik heb de oude Qu24 en heb er mee gewerkt. Wat opvalt als je de nieuwe Qu6 gebruikt is dat de look en feel van de nieuwe mengtafel veel schoner is (in de zin van dat de Qu6 er opgeruimd uitziet)

De nieuwe Qu serie is in vergelijking met de Classic een genot om mee te werken. de software lijkt sneller te reageren dan die van de oude serie (dat is in ieder geval mijn beleving) het scherm is groter en staat meer in het midden van de console. Dan zijn er alle nieuwe snufjes zoals de gain assistent en de feedback assistent die zeer behulpzaam zijn in het snel afstellen van bijvoorbeeld een band.

De nieuwe Qu is ook veel flexibeler dan de classic in de zin van routering, de oude serie had qua inputs een 1 op 1 relatie, terwijl deze nieuwe serie (net als de Behringer Wing) toestaat dat elke willekeurige input op elk willekeurig kanaal kan worden aangesloten.

Aangezien de nieuwe serie Qu vrijwel dezelfde afmetingen heeft als de oude kon ik ook mooi dezelfde flightcase van de oude blijven gebruiken wat natuurlijk een mooie plus is.
