You have to give them credit: engineers who look with twinkles in their eyes at a console full of buttons and LEDs. An Allen & Heath Qu-6D, for example; a digital mixer and recorder, ideal for big bands and theatres. In front of you you get 24 motor faders (and a motor master fader), an island of controls, a large colour screen, and quite a few buttons to determine the function of the faders. Also: SSlink: a special connector that lets you interface with products from the Allen & Heath Everything I/O series. And finally: the D in the name stands for Dante. This special audio networking method is baked into this mixer. In short: a superb digital mixer from a widely respected brand!
