With their successful Celviano series, Casio offer a number of high-quality digital pianos, including this AP-270BK entry-level model. It features 88 Hammer Action keys that have either an ivory or ebony surface structure and playing feel that's almost exactly like the real thing. The AiR Sound Service sound source features 21 sounds, including one American and one European grand piano, electric pianos, organs, strings and even a vibraphone. This piano includes three pedals, a frame and a music stand, which are all wrapped up in one elegant instrument complete with retractable lid.

Possibilities galore

The sound of this piano is made audible thanks to a set of integrated speakers, and can be easily adjusted using various effects. You can simulate the acoustics of a concert hall or combine sounds with the split and layer functions. This piano is equipped with Casio's own Concert Play functionality, which enables the soloist to play along with ten pieces that were recorded by a symphonic orchestra. But, that's not all! The AP-270BK also includes a Music Library of sixty songs as well as room to upload ten of your own songs, which can be done by connecting your PC, Mac or mobile device (iOS or Android) via USB.

Educative options

Learning to play on the AP-270 is easy thanks to the various educative options available. For starters, it has two headphones sockets and the keyboard can be divided into two identical octaves so a teacher and student can play and hear the same thing simultaneously. With the two-track MIDI recorder, you can record your session easily using the clear menu and hot keys for the two grand piano sounds.
