With the LX-7, Roland manages to approximate the sound of a real piano to such an extent that it's hard to tell the difference. SuperNATURAL technology makes it all possible. Instead of reproducing samples, the LX-7's SuperNATURAL engine uses complex formulas to calculate the right sound for each struck note. The effects of pedals, strings and cabinet are all taken into account, ensuring incredibly life-like results.
Over 300 tones
In addition to its outstanding piano sound, the Roland LX-7 PE offers a wide range of other tones as well - over 300, to be precise. Its polyphony, meanwhile, is impressive. Thanks to its SuperNATURAL technology, the digital piano offers unlimited polyphony for its piano tones. The other tones can all handle up to 384 simultaneous voices.
Additional possibilities
Who doesn't own a smartphone or a tablet these days? Set up a Bluetooth connection with the LX-7, and you're able to stream music from your device. You'll be able to play along with your favourite tracks or with recorded four-hand piano parts. It's also worth looking into the available apps. There's an iOS app, for instance, which gives you access to over 70,000 sheet music files. Turning the virtual pages is easy - you can simply use your digital piano's pedals.
