Features of the Roland P-20HD

This is basically a video recorder (towards an SD card) with which you can also play back at the same time. So while you take a moment to replay that goal, this device just continues recording. The replay may be in slow-motion if desired, but it can also be faster, so you can quickly run through a long build-up of a goal. You can connect video at various resolutions, such as 720p, 1050p, 1080p and 1200p. You even get Picture-in-Picture, so the replay or live image can be in a small frame. There are transition options, there is mirror image, you can show an image. There are audio effects like equalisation and limiting. In short, this device can do a lot.

Professional and easy

In terms of connectors and conversion, everything is also very good, and you also keep a good overview thanks to the nice TFT colour screen. Normally, all this was reserved for big TV studios with very expensive gear. Roland also markets it for starters. 'Starter' is a relative term here, by the way, because the P-20HD does cost something, of course. But quality may cost something, you get very useful and high-quality capabilities in return, easy to operate, moreover.
