The sound of Roland pianos may be considered familiar by now: physical modelling. This simply means that there are no samples (recordings of real pianos), but that the piano calculates on the spot how a piano should sound, taking all kinds of physical characteristics into account. This method, and thus this realism, can be found in the Roland KF-20, part of the Kiyola Artisan series. In terms of model, it's particularly idiosyncratic. The classic model (within which Roland also has digital pianos, of course) is not what the Kiyola stands for. In a way, this is very special and 'cult', with a Scandinavian and Japanese look.

Above all, don't be surprised if you come across one. At our shops, we mostly see customers who had a more traditional piano in mind when they came to look, and are suddenly surprised by this Kiyola model. Just as guitarists have their V models and star models, we can also consider this Kiyola a 'model'. Nice sound, nice bench, special colours, special look, and above all: extra features when combined with the Roland App. Take a look at it, we want to urge you!
