The OD-3 Overdrive provides you with an extensive range of silky smooth overdrive tones with an enhanced response, but still stays true to the great sound of the original Boss OD-2.
Sound characteristics of the OD-3
The OD-3's double overdrive circuit offers a level of sustain and compression that you won't find in any other guitar effect. Thanks to its enhanced dynamics, it produces a sound that's richer and grander than ever, and reminiscent of classic overdriven amplifiers. Drive, Tone and Level knobs allow you to adjust the pedal's sound to your preferences.

Wrote the following about Boss OD-3 Overdrive
Dit pedaal doet wat het moet doen. Zo simpel is het. Het voelt een beetje zwaar aan, degelijk. Da's mooi. Geluid oversturen doet hij ook mooi, met name als je wat subtiel wil oversturen. Levering zou in week 1 januari 2017 plaats vinden maar hij kwam toch nog net in de week voor oud en nieuw. Heel blij mee.
