Based on the Japanese HM-2, the next-gen Wurm is an upgrade on a modern classic, offering the extra-flexibility and tonal elasticity of an active four-band EQ section which, besides two pots for tweaking the Highs and Lows, supplies detailed High Mid and Low Mid control pots - open them all the way up to wield a satisfying sonic chainsaw. In fact, by fiddling with the adjustable mid-frequencies per band, you can easily carve out truly custom distortion, and even that Swedish-flavoured, Gothenburg-style sound.
