Fit for any and all styles, this MXR-made pedal spawns wide-ranging overdrives and distortions without sacrificing the original sound of your guitar. The M115 Distortion III has been packed with carefully-selected components to guarantee a broad dynamic range, low noise and rich overtones, not to mention the response needed to shape nuanced distortion based on your playing and the setting of your guitar's volume pot.

Dialling in the M115 Distortion III

The desired degree of distortion can be set with the distortion control before tweaking the master volume with the output control and refining the sound with the tone knob which doubles as an EQ pot, allowing you to smooth out any sharp edges. Also, since the MXR M115 Distortion III features a hard-wired true bypass circuit, you can run your signal through it cleanly while it's switched off.
