General

Following up on the original KAOSS Pad and taking things a few steps further, the Korg KAOSS Replay combines dynamic effects with sampling capabilities for a creative, hands-on approach to live performing. Designed with DJs, musicians and producers in mind, this portable bit of kit sets you up with 128 sample slots and a 4x4 grid of RGB backlit pads for triggering samples, which can be anything from one-shots and loops to complete chunks of music stored on a microSD card (included).

The Korg KAOSS Replay

Beside trigger pads, Korg have outfitted the KAOSS Replay with a mass of effects as well as two faders to which you can assign samples so you can fade between two slices of audio. Hook up your DJ mixer or turntable and your options are pretty much endless. The KAOSS Replay can even serve as a MIDI interface and audio interface so studio rig integration is also fully supported. In short, you're looking at one seriously potent tool for gigs and music production alike.
