A&H could have done so much better on the xone 23. The crossfader curve adjustment on a switch with a crossfader that has too much lag and way too much gain L to R is not good enough It should have been done via a pot. No split Cue? What were they thinking! The phono pre is so quiet using anything less than a 6mv cartridge is pointless, you'll have to have the gain up max and then the hum and hiss creeps in. The vertical faders are ok but not smooth between 8-10 too much volume jump. The filters are noisy plus (minus) only one for both channels and finally if you do want to heat up the pre on this you'll find yourself taking it to bits, soldering pads because they couldn't be bothered to incorporate a cheap switch. This Is exactly what happens when what was once a reputable company gets taken over. Shame because the mixer is solid. Massive disappointment. I would like to point out that Bax delivered this cheap and fast and is no way responsible for A&H's poor design.
