General

Mixing console manufacturers Allen & Heath have expanded on their earlier ZED models with a new analogue unit for even easier recording and mixing. It's called the ZEDi-10 and it has ten channels to work with. It's also equipped with a USB port that works as an interface to transfer audio from the mixer to your computer for editing (Cubase LE software is included) and live mixing. You can connect studio microphones directly to the mixer thanks to an internal GSPre preamp, and two of the mono channels are equipped with DI inputs especially for guitars.

ZEDi-10: compact all-rounder

With four mono and two stereo channels, an RCA input, AUX and FX outs and a headphone input, you can do just about anything with the ZEDi-10. Use the USB port to record mono inputs from the mixer to your computer. Use the selection button to choose what you want to record, whether it's channels 1 through 4, channels 1 and 2 plus the mix, or channels 1 and 2, AUX and effects (all recording is at 24 bits / 96 kHz). The ZEDi-10 allows you to adjust the highs, mids and lows per channel, as well as the amount of AUX, effects and of course volume. If you want, you can activate the lo-cut filter to prevent unwanted buzzing and noise. All this comes complete in a sturdy housing that clearly shows the quality Allen & Heath have to offer.

To connect the mixer to an iOS device, use a separately available Camera Connection Kit (30-pin devices) or a Lightning USB adapter.
The Allen & Heath ZEDi-10 comes including a Cubase LE license.

Gran bel mixer, anche se piccolo per dimensioni, molto versatile, suono caldo e bello dinamico. Buona la gestione dei 4 canali usb che ti permette di gestire efx separati tramite software dedicati come il mainstage, con bassissima latenza, 4 canali monofinici durante un live. Ottimo anche in combinata con programmi per dj, con pre ascolto in cuffia e gestione di 2 decks. Che dire.. Lo consiglio alla grande!!

Allen & Heath Announce the Newest Addition to the ZED Family

Mixing console manufacturers Allen & Heath recently unveiled their compact ZED series of mini mixers, and now, we are pleased to hear they have expanded it to include with two new models, the ZEDi-10 and the slightly larger ZEDi-10FX. Both consoles are equipped with four mono and two stereo channels, and can also be used as an audio interface thanks to a USB input. It won't be long before you can try them out!
