On all channels, you can unleash the filter and Beat FX as well as a compressor. With that compressor, you can give tracks that are produced a little softer just the push they need to keep up with your other tracks. And the effects of the Beat FX can be set on the DJM-V10 using the touch screen. This opens up a world of instantly accessible possibilities for you. It's all about your creativity. Also new to Pioneer's Beat FX is the 'Shimmer' effect. This adds brightness to the original sound.

Even more options to create sound?

And then there's the extensive send/return section. To call the connection options on the back of the DJM-V10 'generous' is an understatement. It's also well endowed in terms of send/return options - you have two stereo sends and returns, and so you can take tracks through, say, your guitar pedals, filters or multi-effect processor and send them back into your mix. The DJM-V10 has also developed another set of internal effects for this section itself, which you can assign here. Then, on the master, there's the Isolator: no subtle EQ, just step in for the big effect and communicate very directly with your audience.
