The new-and-improved JSBP0F5CR 5-piece Stage Custom Birch shell set in Cranberry Red by Yamaha features all kinds of new technology for serious beginners and advanced players alike. The Stage Custom Birch set is equipped with a number of enhancements including rounded bearing edges for more contact with the head, resulting in a bigger sound. The mounting system for the lugs also ensures better resonance.

They have given the Stage Custom Birch shell set series various upgrades starting with a rubber coating on the bass drum's wooden hoop. This creates a truly unique sound, offers protection, and it prevents unwanted vibrations from disturbing the overall sound. Setting up the kit is easy and fast and the bass drum feet offer extra stability as well. There are ten tension rods on the snare for extra tuning stability and optimal stick control. The toms have 1.5mm triple-flanged hoops for a bright, open sound.

Drum Heads

This Stage Custom shell set is equipped with Remo Ambassador Clear drum heads for the toms and Remo's Diplomat series for the bottom heads. The bass drum is equipped with a Remo Powerstroke 3 drum head.
