Yamaha's all-round 6ply birch Stage Custom Birch shell set in Natural Wood has improved shell hardware and is available in more configurations besides this fusion set. It consists of a 20-inch bass drum, a 14-inch floor tom, a 10 and a 12-inch tom and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum.

Matching snare drum

This shell set includes a snare drum that features a matching Natural Wood finish. It has 10 tension rods for accurate tuning and enhanced legs with bass drum stoppers to prevent it from sliding during playing. The bass drum has a wooden hoop, which ensures excellent tonal characteristics.

Innovative design

Yamaha have given this shell set a number of practical elements that ensure an optimal sound by keeping the shells intact. The special Y.E.S.s. tom holder system is easy to adjust and centred on the bass drum to prevent vibrations from the hardware. It also guarantees extra resonance.
