General
Use the Audix DP5 Micro drum microphone set to discreetly amplify a drum kit. This set focuses particularly on close miking of all kettles. Combine the set with a pair of good overheads and you have a complete microphone collection for live drums but also great for studio use. The 3 included MicroD tom microphones are super small and you attach them to the edge of your tom. So they are barely visible to the audience. Also included is an i5 dynamic instrument microphone that perfectly captures the 'punch' and 'bite' of your snare. Finally, the DP5 Micro set also includes the famous D6 bass drum microphone. Right out of the box, this microphone gives you a modern rock kick sound with full lows and a prominent 'tap'. The set comes in a sturdy aluminium case.
