Promark F5BAG ActiveGrip 5B Forward Balance drumsticks

Playing with sweaty hands can cause big problems. Promark wanted to help you out with that, and so they developed their ActiveGrip lacquer, which they've used to coat these drumsticks. The layer gets stickier as your hands get warmer, so you get the kind of grip you need. They've kept the lacquer layer nice and thin too, so you don't have to worry about it affecting your technique since it'll be just like playing with a regular 5B stick. Another advantage is that the layer isn't rough, so your hands will stay intact. The paint goes back to being smooth after it cools down, and it doesn't chip or stain either, so your drums, cymbals and hands will stay nice and clean.

Forward Balance

This pair of sticks has Forward Balance weight distribution. That means that a relatively large portion of the weight is at the front end of the stick. In order to achieve this, the shoulder of the stick is shorter than that of a Rebound Balance stick. The result is a stick that's perfect for playing with a lot of speed and power. The rather long teardrop tip makes it possible to get clear articulation and stick definition.
