The Acoustic Fly Rig is the latest addition to Tech 21's popular Fly Rig series. It's a multi-effects processor for acoustic instruments that gives you professional-quality sounds for use in the studio or live on stage. The jewel in the crown has to be SansAmp which is a fully analogue amp simulator with an active EQ, notch and low-pass filters. Everything is designed to help you get the best possible sound out of your acoustic guitar and you can even adjust settings to match the room you're playing in. While the Acoustic Fly Rig may be comprehensive, it's compact too making it easy to take with you.

Acoustic Fly Rig: effects

The built-in compressor uses FET technology to give you a warmer, more transparent sound and there's an integrated boost function that gives you 12 decibels of extra power whenever you need it. Other effects include reverb, delay and chorus. There's a built-in tuner so that you can quickly and easily check your tuning between songs and should you wish to practise in silence, the Acoustic Fly Rig has a headphone socket too. For connecting to external equipment, you can make use of the XLR output with ground lift.
