A great pick for modern bassists, this headless five-string has a fresh maple body furnished with a 6mm-thick poplar burl top for a sweet mix of tight, full lows and clear, transparent highs, not to mention a visually stunning grain pattern.

The Artisan Space 5: Bartolini Pickups

Cort has geared up the Space 5 with two Bartolini MK-1s. These punchy pickups deliver beautifully balanced sound framed by warm mids and lush trebles, with the active 3-band EQ controls giving you ample options to fine-tune the sonic specifics. This 5-string headless electric bass guitar comes pre-strung with a set of D'Addario EXL170-5SL strings so you can start slinging tight bass lines right away.

Super-Stable Neck and Zero Fret

The 7-piece neck has been fashioned out of a mix of roasted maple, walnut and purpleheart, resulting in absolutely superb stability in combination with the adjustable spoke-nut truss rod. The roasted maple fretboard, meanwhile, features abalone dots for smooth fret navigation, a zero fret that does away with the intonation issues that sometimes come with playing open strings, and a 15.75-inch radius for an extra-fast playing feel.
