If you're ready to take on a five-string bass or you're an ambitious beginner seeking more of a challenge, then the P-style Fazley Sunset Series Piranha five-string offers the extended range of an extra low-B for an ultra-low price. Even in standard tuning, the extra low-B string means that this bass can go another five semitones lower, expanding the note range and pushing up the potential. Meanwhile, the comfortably lightweight basswood body has been given a tasteful high-gloss paint job and fitted with an extra-stable bolt-on roasted maple neck with a satin-gloss finish and a modern-C profile, supporting a smooth and fast feel all the way up to the highest of the twenty-one medium-jumbo frets. The full and warm core sound of this bass is enhanced by the mid-range accent and lightly pronounced trebles added by the high-grade Graph Tech TUSQ nut, giving the amplified tone of the mounted split-coil pickup some satisfying balance and bite. As a generous bonus, this five-string bass comes complete with a form-fitting gig bag.

Fazley's Sunset Series Piranha (Olympic White) 5 string bass is exactly what you expect a 5 string p-bass to be.
The neck has a powerful but smooth feel and the 21 frets are well done. The body has that classic design that can't be beat and the scoop by the neck plate is a nice touch. The olympic white finish on the body and the red tortoise shell pickguard are extremely clean and professional looking. 17 mm string spacing at the bridge is just right and provides an extremely comfortable playing area. Right out of the box it is a playable bass as the tuners, bridge and strap buttons are sturdy, the action is fair and the pickup is powerful.
If you're looking for the best bang-for-your-buck 5 string p-bass, this is the bass to get your hands on.

Bonne facture, manche agréable . Les micros ne sont pas bien alignés avec les cordes car le montage est inversé. Pour optimiser cette guitare, faut prévoir un réglage de manche et le changement des cordes et des micros.

Pas encore joué , cependant la basse est de bonne facture .manche agréable pas de défaut particulier au niveau des frettes.reste à vérifier l’action et la position des micros . La basse est soignée et les finition sont bonnes pour une basse 5 cordes à ce prix.

Le manche est très agréable. Aucun défaut concernant les frettes. Mon exemplaire pèse 4,2kg ce qui assez léger.
La finition est très excellente.
Je regrette 4 points qui auraient pu être améliorés à la conception.
Le sillet (nut) était très mal réglé, les cordes trop hautes rendant très fatiguant de jouer les notes en haut du manche.
Le micro n’est pas bien aligné avec les cordes de G et B. Cela s’entend sur certaines notes.
Le chevalet est trop épais, impossible de régler l’action comme j’aurais voulu, impossible de descendre à moins de 2,2mm pour la cordes de sol.
Les cordes d’origine n’ont aucun caractère, je les ai remplacé par rotosound.
Pour résumer, avec quelques réglages et concessions sur la qualité, vous avez une basse Jolie et qui sonne comme une Pbass avec une 5ème corde !
