General

Since the successful launch of the original O Bass already dates back quite a few years, Orange are excited to present the 2022 edition. In addition to a solid okoume body that keeps the weight more-than-manageable, this updated model features white body binding for a stylish colour contrast, a black headstock for timeless looks and a sustainable purpleheart fretboard along with an improved neck carve which fully optimises the playability. So you can personalise its look, the Orange O Bass even comes complete with an extra tortoiseshell-style pickguard, plus a padded gig bag for safekeeping.

Special Split-Coil Pickup Placement

The traditional single-cut body has been loaded with a single split-coil pickup which, when compared to other P-style basses, has been strategically placed eight millimetres closer to the neck by designer Adrian Emsley. The result is a deeper, warmer growl that lends itself to various styles, ranging from Motown and R&B to reggae, punk and rock-n-roll.
