The Schecter Hellraiser Extreme-5 See-Thru Black Satin is a powerful 5-string electric bass guitar for bassists who want to combine a deep and tight low end with a striking appearance. The body is crafted from mahogany and finished with a Quilted Maple top. The satin black See-Thru Black Satin finish allows the wood grain to show through subtly. Thanks to the one-piece, multi-layered maple and walnut neck, you also benefit from a stable construction and easy access to the higher frets. The Gothic Cross inlays and multi-layered mother-of-pearl binding give this Hellraiser Extreme-5 a distinctive, luxurious look.

Active EMG tone control

This bass guitar is fitted with two active EMG 40TW pickups, positioned at the neck and bridge. With the two push-pull volume controls and the active EMG 3-band EQ, you can fine-tune the sound to suit your playing style. This makes the Hellraiser Extreme-5 suitable for a wide range of heavy music styles where a powerful bass foundation is required. The 35-inch scale length ensures sufficient string tension, which supports a tight and clear sound, particularly on the low B string. The combination of active electronics and the solid wood construction makes this bass a versatile instrument.

Designed for discerning bassists

The Hellraiser Extreme-5 features an ebony fingerboard with 24 X-Jumbo frets and a slim Thin C neck profile. The nut is 45 mm wide and provides ample space for the five strings. The Schecter Custom Bass bridge supports both string-through-body and top-load stringing. In addition, the bass is fitted with Grover tuning machines and black chrome hardware. This bass comes factory-fitted with D’Addario NYXL45130 Long Scale strings. Those looking for extra protection can purchase the optionally available Schecter SCSGR-6B case separately.
