General

The Schecter J-4 Maple LH is a left-handed 4-string electric bass guitar featuring a classic J-style design and modern playability. The body is made of alder and finished in Sea Foam Green. The bolt-on neck and fingerboard are made of maple and feature a Thin C profile. Thanks to its 34-inch scale length (863 mm), 38 mm nut width and 21 Narrow X-Jumbo frets, this bass provides a comfortable foundation for a wide range of playing styles. The left-handed version makes this model particularly suitable for bassists who play their instrument on the left-hand side.

MonsterTone-J pickups

The J-4 Maple LH is fitted with two Schecter USA MonsterTone-J pickups, one at the bridge and one at the neck. These pickups deliver a powerful sound with relatively high output, whilst retaining their passive character. The Volume and Tone controls allow you to fine-tune the basic tone. The tone control also features a push-pull coil tap, providing additional tonal variation. As a result, the J-4 Maple LH combines the familiar sound of a J-bass with additional possibilities for different playing styles and musical genres.

String-through or Top Load

The Schecter Custom Bass String-Through bridge offers the option of routing the strings through the body or mounting them as a top-load setup. This provides flexibility when adjusting the playing feel and string response. The bass is fitted with Schecter tuners and black hardware for a sleek finish. The included D’Addario Bass Nickel Wound Long Scale NYXL45105 strings have a gauge of .045–.105. An SCSGR-UNIV6 case is listed by the manufacturer as being available separately and is therefore not included with this left-handed J-4 Maple.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
